I'm a visual storyteller, motion designer and art director with more than ten years of work for UN agencies, international NGOs, newsrooms and brands. Most of my work starts with something hard to explain, a labour statistic, a money trail, a migration route, and ends with something people can follow.

I trained in fine art at Minya University in Egypt and later completed an MA in 3D Computer Animation at Bournemouth University. Before motion became the centre of my practice, I storyboarded more than sixty episodes of an Egyptian animated series, modelled characters for an animation studio and drew concept art for games.

For ten years I produced animation, infographics and posters for the International Labour Organization, working with its offices from Cairo and Baghdad to Yangon, Tirana and Geneva. I have made explainers for The New Arab's newsroom in London, data graphics for investigations at The Sentry, films for the FAO and IOM, and comics for the Danish Refugee Council. I have also directed an animation series, leading a team of animators and voice artists.

Today I design motion for SiGMA World's international summits from Limassol, Cyprus. Most of my work starts with something hard to explain, a labour statistic, a money trail, a migration route, and ends with something people can follow.
